It didn’t take long for the police to launch a hunt to find O.J. Simpson. He refused to hand himself in and was involved in one of the most infamous car chases of all time as Simpson fled in a 1993 Ford Bronco SUV. All in all, it’s estimated 95 million people tuned in to watch the chase unfold.
He was eventually caught, and Simpson was taken to trial, a case which played out over nine months. Simpson ended up selling $50,000 worth of sports assets to pay for his legal team made up of F. Lee Bailey, Robert Shapiro, Johnnie Cochran, and close friend Robert Kardashian, a group later referred to as the “Dream Team.”
